The fall season ushers in lots of excitement for the Garden State
Harmonica Club, as we prepare for our annual Festival in November. To
add to this anticipation, September is also the 40th Anniversary of the
founding of our club by George Osterman. That’s why we decided to have
another party before the Festival to commemorate this special occasion.
There will be a 40th Anniversary Celebration held on Sunday September,
18th at our favorite club, Trumpets Jazz Club and Restaurant in
Montclair, NJ. This will take place from 2:00 – 6:00 and will include
members and guests performing at Open Mic. Here’s an opportunity to
get up on stage and be accompanied by a professional pianist, if
desired. Included in this celebration will be Stan Harper, honorary
member of the GSHC for many years whose 90th birthday also takes place
this month. In addition to Stan other players at Open Mic will be Rob
Pararozzi, Phil Caltabellotta, The Melody Men (Phil, Frank Grova, Bill
Farbstein), Gary Mettler, Charlie Toker and “you”! The price is right;
only $22 for members, $27 for non-members paid In advance or $30 at the
door that includes a delicious lunch, champagne toast, soft drinks, and
more! Visit our websites Garden State
and : Trumpets Jazz Club for complete information
